The international matches of the final stage of the European Youth Championship between our national teams and the French teams, finalists and organized, on behalf of the International Federation, by the French Federation in collaboration with the local club and municipality, were held in Poussan, located in the Herault department in France in the Occitanie Region, on Friday, August 23 and Saturday, August 24. 

It was the ninth edition, following last week’s European Championship of the senior national teams during the inauguration of the new sferisterio in Gignac, which saw a complete victory for the Italian teams.

It was a total domination by the Azzurri teams, who triumphed in all the matches played, confirming the complete victory achieved a year ago on the field of San Pietro in Cariano. The junior men's night match was not concluded by the end of the event, with the Azzurri still leading 12-4, due to the bad weather that hit the French town. Finally, there was a great celebration for the delegation led by Luigi Baruffi, which further confirmed the excellent condition and level of our youth tamburello teams.From its first edition, always victorious except for the year 2023, Italy is a sign of the important and ever-improving level of Italian athletes in Open Tamburello.
